About Storytelling in Action
Storytelling in Action is a Delaware LLC founded by Jamie J. Brunson, former Executive Director of First Person Arts. Storytelling in Action is dedicated to bringing the highest-quality storytelling to audiences across multiple platforms. Our goal is to develop artful, compelling stories, then strategically release them to have maximum positive impact. We believe:
- Everyone deserves their place in history.
- Storytelling validates the dignity and importance of every person’s story.
- Storytelling, when nurtured in a safe, embracing environment, transcends barriers, connects people through their unique and shared experiences, and builds stronger communities.
The foundation of our art emerges from three seminal questions:
- “What true stories need to be told NOW?”
- “Who needs to tell them?” and
- “Who needs to hear them?”
Driven by its core belief, the organization brings answers to these questions to thought leadership with intention.
