This small-group professional development workshop will teach you how to communicate business goals and objectives through dynamic storytelling that influences, persuades, and strengthens your presence. Participants will:
Learn dynamic narrative story structure.
Deconstruct complex strategies into easy-to-understand mission-driven stories.
Connect with audiences through sharing of authentic lived experiences relevant to your presentation.
Command attention by developing your own unique, dynamic presentation style.
Influence/Persuade audiences through common goals and desired outcomes.
Students will take away one critiqued business presentation as the foundation for building a portfolio of stories and techniques to create their own unique, dynamic presentation style.
Length:
(3) 120-minute sessions
(Participants should come prepared with a story concept or draft.)
Session #1 – Learn story structure by deconstructing a powerful, influential story sample, develop your story and receive essential feedback for revision.
Session #2 – Share your revised story and receive feedback.
Session #3 – Present your final story and receive customized tips for a powerful story presentation
